BIG NEWS!! Can you tell us the winner of the Egyptian Event 25 mile Endurance ride in Lexington, KY on June 6, 2009? Well, if you said Galaxy Aanuket wz, or Nuke or one of a couple other nicknames used to mean this Galaxy I (RA Jahim X Etnasha) son out of Treff-Haven Nageed (Nagsous X Naheed) owned by Mark and Marie Sobiski, you are right on target. And not only that...Nuke set a new record there at this distance with the impressive time of just 1 hr 44min! He was well guided to this outcome by Rebecca Hayden who has been aboard for all of his rides, this being his 8th competitive one (following a trial first go to get a feel for what it's all about and with no finish goals attached). In those 8 rides he finished 3 - thirds, 3 - seconds, a 4th and now a win, and a very decisive one at that, plus he received reserve BC - to add to a BC and another reserve earlier this year! *See below (in 2008 Related News) for more details on some of these rides. Meanwhile, Nuke also placed top ten in the Institute for the Desert Arabian Horse awards for 2008! And he isn't done yet...stay tuned right here for continueing news on the Nuke Adventures channel.

The latest for Treff-Haven Lamir and owner Sarah Willis...Lamir and Sarah attended their first class A show in March 2009 showing Intro Dressage Walk/Trot. This young gelding has been doing some maturing and he and Sarah had a great time at the show, doing well in their classes, however the chance to relax and learn was foremost on the agenda and that went off a roaring success. We're so pleased with this pair as they keep coming along and, most of all, that they are having fun at the same time.
